The Democratic Militarian Party Has Fallen

This Is Nico Wiedemann live from the Capitol with this breaking story.

Hello Citizens!

Following A full state apology from the Federated states of Gapla, a micronation located in California, The Democratic Militarian Party has dissolved into the Democratic-Diplomatic party, or the DDP, the minority party at the time. Now, the DDP holds every seat in the senate except for two independents. But why have the two parties merged? Well, back in 2020, when Excelsior had just been founded, in attempted diplomacy with the great nation of Gapla, the minister of foreign affairs wrote some disputed defamatory content via email to our president. The chancellor dismissed the claim that this was offensive, but Mr. Washburn, the president, pushed on. Soon, this resulted in extreme political discord. The entire nation was split over actions that we should take against Gapla, with the DDP arguing that diplomatic relations were necessary, and dismissing that the emails were offensive while The DMP claimed they were, and that we should not enter diplomacy. Some more extreme members even called for war. however, a few months later, Gaplan President Wyatt Seungri Baek emailed us, apologizing for the emails. He explained that their minister of foreign affairs had written these emails on his account, and said that he personally found them quite offensive. He issued a full apology. The DMP, realizing that their main issue was now resolved, merged into the DDP, with all members switching sides. However, a small faction called the DIP, or democratic-institution party, still exists within the DDP, controlled by President Silas Washburn. Reporting live from the Capitol, this is Nico Wiedemann.
